Crossing

Holding the baby under the armpits, put it with the legs on a flat surface so that the baby can push off the surface with the legs alternately, then both at once, imitating steps and bouncing.
Such an exercise will strengthen the muscles of the legs and help prepare them for walking.

Playing with turns

Turning the baby in different directions will help him to form an idea of space and learn to keep his balance.
Take the child in his arms and, holding his head with his hand, turn first to one side, and then to the other. Keep it with your back or face to yourself. During the turns, sing some children's songs. The more often you change the field of view of a child, the faster it develops coordination of movements and a sense of balance that are necessary for crawling and walking.

We strengthen the handles

If your baby has already learned to sit, you can do the following exercises with him: take a strong stick or rope, offer the child to grab hold of her handles, then lift the baby from a lying position to sit down and put back. Repeat this exercise several times.
You can offer the child to take the wand handle alternately and perform the actions described above.
Thus, not only the muscles of the hands but also the abdomen will be strengthened.

Strong

Exercise is performed with the same items as the previous one. Instead of a wand, you can also use plastic rings.
Take the ring from one side, and let the child grab onto the other side. Pull the ring toward you, then let it do the same to the little one, with little resistance. Repeat the exercise for the other hand.

Strong legs

Put the baby on the back and carefully straighten his legs. When they are fully straightened, lightly pat the baby on the soles of his feet. He immediately squeezes fingers and bent legs. In this case, sing hilarious songs and rhymes. Praise the baby. Strong hip muscles will play a big role when the baby starts to crawl and walk.

On the ball

Take a large inflatable ball (it should not be too tight). Put the baby's belly on the ball, and, holding the child, roll the ball back and forth.
This exercise well strengthens all muscle groups. It is also recommended for infants with birth traumatic brain injuries.

We train the spine

Put the baby on the back of the changing table or sofa. Take in the hands both legs of the child, lead them by the baby's head, without touching the surface, then return to the starting position. Repeat the exercise 5-6 times.

We walk on our hands

Put the baby on his belly on the ball (diameter 20-30 cm), holding the legs, push it slightly back and forth. This exercise not only improves the coordination of movements but also develops the hands of the baby.
Then the exercise can be complicated: keep the child by the legs, let him go on his hands. You can also put a toy in front of the baby so that the baby can reach it.

Get the toy

At some distance from the child put a toy, ask the baby to get it. Sitting at the child is unlikely to work, so he will first try to reach the toy, if not, he will try to crawl up to it.
The same exercise can be used by teaching the child to walk, gradually increasing the distance to the toy.

Hide and Seek

Kids love games in which you need to hide and seek. Hide behind a chair, and let the child crawl, try to find you. Then let the kid himself try to hide, and you look for him.
The game develops the muscles of the arms and legs. Strengthens crawling skills.

Playing with an inflatable ball

Hang a large inflatable ball to the ceiling so that the baby can reach it.
He will be happy to hit the ball and watch him swing.
The game is aimed at coordinating the movements and developing the muscles of the hands.

Tug of war

Play with the baby in the "tug of war". Let it take one end of the scarf or belt, and you gently pull on the other. The child will like this fun game.
